Mining

Mining allows you to gather ores that are used in a lot of the different crafting skills. You can start mining with a shovel or pickaxe. YOu can also gather granite or special gems while mining. Granite requires a specialization book to be read before you can mine it and then you'll also need to select granite on your shovel or pickaxe.

Higher ore colors can only be obtained by raising your mining skill.

Special Bonus Resources
In order to get a chance at special bonus resources while mining you must have 100 skill level. Being an Elf will also increase the chances of getting a bonus resource.
