Editing Mining

<b>Mining</b><br>

Mining allows you to gather ores that are used in a lot of the different crafting skills. You can start mining with a shovel or pickaxe. YOu can also gather granite or special gems while mining. Granite requires a specialization book to be read before you can mine it and then you'll also need to select granite on your shovel or pickaxe.<br>

Higher ore colors can only be obtained by raising your mining skill.<BR>

<b>Gargoyle Pickaxes</b><br>
Gargoyle pick axes will have a chance to spawn an ore elemental of the type of mining vein you are currently harvesting!<br>
<b>Prospector's Tool</b><br>
This tool will upgrade the ore in the vein you are currently harvesting up until onyx ore. It only needs to be used once per ore vein.<br>
<b>Special Bonus Resources</b><br>
In order to get a chance at special bonus resources while mining you must have 100 skill level. Being an Elf will also increase the chances of getting a bonus resource.<br><br>

<b> Niter Deposits</B><BR>
Niter deposits can appear when mining in a dungeon region or mining from a boat. Niter deposits will appear your first time mining a vein. So if you mine it once, and a Niter Deposit doesn't appear it wont appear for that vein. Luck will affect Niter deposit frequency. Mining a niter deposit will yield salt peter. Salt peter is used in crafting materials for Galleon Cannons.
